About Clio
Hi, I'm Clio. Like many of you, I came to the Netherlands as an expat. I know what it feels like to land in a new country, try to piece together a reliable support network, and wonder who you can trust to look after the ones you love.
That includes your pets. Based in the heart of Den Haag and fully authorised to work in the Netherlands, I offer reliable, personal, and professional pet care, in a language you'll actually understand. Just warm, dependable care for your furry (or fuzzy) family members.
I have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and more, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Before moving to the Netherlands, I worked at PetSmart in the United States as part of their Doggy Day Care team. It gave me real, practical experience working alongside dogs of many different breeds, sizes and temperaments, and I got comfortable reading and responding to a wide range of personalities. Whether you need someone to pop in while you're at work, or a longer stay while you're travelling. I've got you covered.
What sets me apart? This is what I do. Full stop. Pet sitting isn't a side gig squeezed around studies or another job. It's my sole focus, which means you'll always have my full attention and availability. And as an added layer of reassurance, I live with my family, who provide backup support when needed, so your pet is never without cover.

Daily walks in Den Haag's beautiful parks and neighbourhoods. Your dog gets exercise, fresh air, and social time. You get peace of mind.
Going away for a few days or a week? I stay at your home overnight so your pet never has to stay alone. Perfect for work trips, holidays, and short stays.
I welcome pets into my home in the centre of Den Haag, dependent on an initial meet and greet to make sure it is a good fit!
Rates
All rates are per visit or per day. Travel outside Den Haag is available on request. Travel costs will be agreed in advance.
Rates are indicative. Get in touch for a personalised quote, especially for multiple pets. We do not typically offer long stays over a week, but if you are a current client or would like to request that, please reach out.
Who I Care For
Every animal is different, and every owner's needs are too. Here's who I have experience caring for, though the list doesn't stop here:
From energetic pups to gentle seniors: walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of cuddles. All breeds and sizes welcome.
Independent but in need of company. I visit on your schedule for feeding, litter, playtime, and the all-important chin scratch.
Have a different companion at home? Get in touch. Clio has experience with a range of animals and is happy to discuss your pet's specific needs.
For home stays at my house, pets must be house-trained, comfortable using an elevator, and comfortable walking in an urban area.
For the Expat Community
No language barrier. We talk through everything clearly: schedules, preferences, concerns. However works best for you.
Centrally located and easy to reach. Close to the international quarter, embassies, and popular expat neighbourhoods.
Pet sitting is my sole focus. Not a student job or something fitted around other work. It means consistent availability, reliability, and care you can genuinely count on.
I live with my family, who provide additional support when needed, so there's always someone there for your pet, no matter what.
I hold a valid residence permit and am fully authorised to work in the Netherlands, with ZZP registration currently in progress.
Based in Den Haag, I'm also happy to travel to other parts of the Netherlands when needed. Travel costs apply for trips outside the city.
